​Arab Media Day is commemorated on 21 April according to the resolution issued at the 46th session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers. This observance aligns with the objectives outlined in the Charter of the League of Arab States, the guidelines for collaborative Arab media endeavours, and the pursuit of fostering excellence and innovation.

General Secretariat holds first Arab coordination meeting to prepare for 10th session of ministerial meeting of Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum

​​A meeting of Arab coordination was convened at the level of permanent delegates at the General Secretariat's headquarters on 17 April. The session was presided over by the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, currently holding the presidency of the League Council at the ministerial level. The objective was to prepare for the tenth session of the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum, scheduled for May 30 2024.
