The Lebanese Republic will host the fourth Arab Development Economic and Social Summit in January 2019, which discuss important issues in areas of economic and social development that will positively affect the Arab societies.
The Secretariat General currently is pursuing coordination with the Lebanese Republic, for a good preparation for the convening of this Summit and the success of its proceedings, after being held six years ago since the generous host by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the last Arab Development Economic and Social Summit .
The timing of this Summit is of great importance, in light of the unprecedented challenges in the Arab region, it requires a serious joined forces, close coordination, and genuine cooperation to overcome them, and to continue the development and building process based on the progress achieved in the last three sessions of the Kuwait Summit: 2009 – Sharm El sheikh: 2011- Riyadh: 2013).
