​Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, strongly condemned the Israeli forces’ raid on the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Jerusalem, describing the attack as part of an ongoing campaign by the occupation aimed at undermining the Agency’s role and dismantling the protection it affords to the rights of Palestinian refugees.

​The 28th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism and the 36th session of its Executive Bureau were held on 9-10 December in Baghdad, Republic of Iraq. The sessions were held in implementation of the resolution adopted by the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism at its previous session, held at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States on 12 December 2024, which stipulated that the 28th session of the Council be convened in Baghdad on 9-10 December 2025, preceded by the 36th session of the Executive Bureau on 8 December 2025.

​he 114th session of the Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries is taking place from 7 to 11 December with the participation of delegations from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Syrian Arab Republic, the State of Palestine, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Lebanese Republic, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO), the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

The conference addresses the pressing developments confronting the Palestinian cause, with particular focus on the situation of Palestinian refugees and the grave challenges facing UNRWA amid ongoing Israeli targeting. It also examines the agency’s severe financial crisis, stemming from a $200 million deficit. Additionally, the conference is discussing issues pertaining to Jerusalem, the Intifada, Israeli settlements, the separation wall, and broader development concerns.
